Ontario Hunter Education Course

Service Description

The Ontario Hunter Education Course instills responsible hunting practices to respect hunting regulations, prevent accidents and ensure public safety. The course can be taken in-person from a certified instructor or online. The course provides information about: wildlife management hunter responsibilities hunting laws and regulations hunting safety and equipment hunting techniques wildlife identification Successful completion of the course, and purchase of applicable licences allows hunters to hunt with a bow in Ontario. In order to hunt with a gun, successful completion of the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) is required.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATIONS POLICY Cancellations will be accepted up to 2 weeks prior to the scheduled course date (14 calendar days). This can be requested through your on-line booking request. Less then 14 days you must contact YR Firearms and request to be put into new course date. Only 1 course transfer will be permitted without forfeiting your deposit and you have 7 business days to select a new course date. Failure to reschedule within the allotted time frame and/or failing to attend the day of the course will forfeit your deposit. ​ REFUNDS A full refund of your deposit will be provided if completed 14 days prior to your scheduled course date. A service fee of 4% of your total amount paid will be applied to your refund. Refund could take up to 10 business days to process.
